Today we went to the University of Maastricht and went on a field trip with the students to the cemetery for the U.S. soldiers who died in World War ll. We learned that the Americans fought and that in the cemetery 8,301 people were killed during World War ll. Then we went to a cave with endless passage ways with lots of artwork, sculptures and even that look like kitchen and a table underground!?! Its amazing caves that look like mazes inspire me to want to become a geologist when I grow up. I want to study geological engineering.

  6. Abby, on the crosses are people who fought in World War ll. I only know a few wich is: George Vanal,William G. Lynn Jr,Andrew Mayko,Robert G. Cole who is medal of honor because he was the only American fighter and called for help but people laghted at him and 4 other men came to help him and had no choice and charged at a machine gun and the others stayed back. One said"If he's going in, I am" and the rest did the same thing charged with him. Then he died when somebody sht him in the head and didn't know it was coming. Bye abby I'm learning alot of stuff.
